NATCHEZ — Services for Ruth Beatrice Bernard, 65, of Natchez, who died Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from noon until service time Saturday, both at the church.

Ms. Bernard was born Jan. 15, 1945, in Natchez, the daughter of James Henry Bernard and Annie Laura Duncan Bernard. She was a member of the Nursing Home Committee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Cassandra Foster; and one brother, Bennie Robson.

Survivors include three loving daughters, Criseider Ann Foster and Jack White, Sandra Foster Gibson, all of Atlanta, and Felicia Darcell Foster of Natchez; one devoted son, Zachary V. Foster Sr. and wife, Mary, of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Marcella Washington, Annie Mary Dunmore and Susan Hunt, all of Natchez; one brother, Clarence Robson and wife, Willie Mae, of Natchez; seven grandchildren; a special friend, Willie Mae Turner; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
