NATCHEZ — Services for Ruby Cage, 67, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church in Cranfield with the Rev. George Washington and the Rev. Walter Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Cage was born Aug. 13, 1942, in Anquilla, the daughter of Cornelius and Lula Johnson Thomas. She was employed by the Natchez-Adams County School District as a janitor.
Survivors include her husband, Carlston Cage; two sons, Christopher Cage of Natchez and Wayne Harvard of Panama City, Fla.; two brothers, Rufus Elmore and wife, Barbara, and Ronnie Elmore and wife, Sharon, all of Natchez; two sisters, Linda and Catherine Thompson, both of Anquilla; three stepsisters, Linda, Daisy and Dot Elmore, all of Natchez; father-in-law, Israel Cage of Vidalia; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Cooper of Arlington, Texas and Bonita Cage of Vidalia; two brothers-in-law, Lonnie Cage of Natchez and Billy Cage of Jackson; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
