MEADVILLE — Services for Jerry C. Wallace, 76, of Roxie, who died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at his residence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Meadville Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Wallace was born May 27, 1933, in Franklin County, the son of Clinton Wallace and Madalene Jackson Wallace Pickens. He was a retired auto technician.

Mr. Wallace was a member of Meadville Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Bessie Twiner Wallace; two brothers, Danny Wallace of Smithdale and Ricky Wallace of Roxie; six sisters, Joycelyn Etheridge of Atlanta, Debbie Smith of Wesson, Connie Evans of Ridgeland, Jo Nell Dorsey, Carolyn Wallace and Pat Untereiner, all of Metairie, La., and Gloria Walters of Roxie; and a number of nieces and nephews.
