NATCHEZ — Three familiar faces will fill the Adams County chancery and circuit court judge’s seats.

Judge George Ward was the only candidate to qualify for chancery court judge. Judges Forrest “Al” Johnson and Lillie Blackmon Sanders are the only candidates who qualified for the two circuit court seats.

Qualification ended May 7. Primary election day is June 1 and the general election will be on Oct. 2.

Ward has served as chancery court judge since 1999. Johnson and Sanders have both served in their positions since 1995.
