NATCHEZ — Services for Lawrence Lee Clemons, 35, of Natchez, who died Saturday, May 15, 2010, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.
Burial will follow at Smithland Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Clemons was born Nov. 13, 1974, in Natchez, the son of Willie Mae Clemons and Charles Marsaw. He was the youngest of six siblings.
He attended North Natchez High School.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandfathers, Charlie Ford and Mac Newman.
Survivors include one son, Lawrence Lee Clemons Jr. of Natchez; four sisters, Carolyn Anderson and husband, Ray, of Natchez, Doretha Bledsoe and husband, Michael, of Baton Rouge, Ida Clemons and Lachelle Clemons, both of Byram; two brothers, Charles Clemons and wife, Veronica, and Michael Clemons and wife, Sondra, all of Atlanta; two grandmothers, Theresa Ford and Ida Newman; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Ceremonial dinner will be at Broadmoor Community Center.
Lawrence Lee may be gone, but will never be forgotten.
