Natchez — G. Daniel Oglesby has been promoted to assistant vice president of United Mississippi Bank where he works in lending, credit analysis and reporting.

Oglesby graduated from Adams County Christian School, attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College and received his bachelor’s in finance from Louisiana Tech.

He joined United Mississippi Bank in 2006 as a management trainee where he spent time in the branches and provided support to lenders and senior management.

Oglesby is married to the former Tasha M. Willis. They have one son, Eli.
