WOODVILLE — Services for Lindsay E. “Cotton” Brown Sr., 79, of Woodville, who died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Corinth Church of Christ near Woodville with the Rev. Bernard Waites officiating.

Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at Corinth Church of Christ.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was born Feb. 14, 1931, in Wilkinson County, the son of Casey Samuel Brown and Ione Phipps Brown. He was a retired farmer and logger, and a member of the Corinth Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 54 years, Audrey R. Leake Brown; one son, Randy Brown; one sister, Lela B. Walker and one brother, Burnell Brown.

Survivors include five children, Katherine Pasqua and husband, David, of Baker, Janice Faye Adams of Natchez, Linda McNeely of Woodville, Lindsay E. Brown Jr. and wife, Evelyn, of Woodville, and Ray Brown and wife, Connie, of Crosby; eight grandchildren, Dana Smith, Jason Coco, Kim Sanders, Casey Pasqua, Karen Massey, Sarah David, Michael Brown and Dwight Williams; four step-grandchildren, Mary Ellard, Daniel Ellard, Jason Ellard and Mandy Payne; five great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren, and one sister, Irene Smith of Baker.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons Michael Brown, Casey Pasqua, Dwight Williams and Jason Coco, his step-grandsons Daniel Ellard and Jason Ellard, and will also include Marvin Walker, Chase Smith, Ethan Sanders and Sean Yarbrough.

Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Walker and Frederick R. Hulse Jr.
