Three arrested in Concordia Parish drug bust

FERRIDAY — The Wildsville area was the site of a major Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office drug bust late Wednesday night.
The Concordia Narcotics Task Force, along with the Ferriday Police Department, arrested three people at a residence at 3804 Louisiana 565. There, authorities confiscated eight guns, approximately $4,000 in cash and approximately four pounds of marijuana.
“This was a major arrest,” Sheriff Randy Maxwell said. “Lt. Denis Mulvihill and Sgt. Billy Joe Ratcliff and those working with them did an absolutely outstanding job.”
Maxwell said these arrests were part of an ongoing investigation and more arrests could follow.
“This was just the tip of the iceberg, and we’re going to pursue this case vigorously,” Maxwell said.
Xanax pills and assorted drug paraphernalia were also found throughout the residence. The cash was found stuffed in hats and in a safe.
Jimmie Maier Jr., 42, 3804 Louisiana 565, was arrested on charges of possession of schedule I with intent, possession of schedule IV, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of marijuana. Maier’s bond is set at $200,000.
Elizabeth Jeanell Dupuis, 48, 3804 Louisiana 565, was arrested on charges of possession of schedule I with intent, possession of schedule IV, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Dupuis’ bond is set at $150,000.
Charles Clifford Harris, 50, 4591 Louisiana 565, was arrested on charges of possession of schedule I with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Harris’ bond is set at $150,000.
