Natchez — Naomi G. Jones has joined United Mississippi Bank as assistant vice president serving the duties of controller.

Jones is a graduate of Kilmichael High School, where she was valedictorian and a National Merit finalist, and the University of Mississippi where she graduated in three years. She brings multiple years of banking experience to UMB having worked for Central Bank of Monroe, CENCAP (Delta Bank), and Concordia Bank and Trust.

She is married to Gary W. Jones, and they are the parents of four children; Brandon A. Smith, Ty Logan Smith, Celeste Jones Generes and Garret Jones.

Jones is a member of Parkway Baptist Church where she participates in Sunday school and choir.
