BATON ROUGE — Funeral services for Thomas A. Dean, 80, of Baton Rouge, formerly of Ferriday, who died Friday, June 4, 2010, at Capitol House Nursing Center, will be 2 p.m., Tuesday at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield, La., with the Rev. Danny Keyes officiating.

Burial will follow in Gardens of Memories Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., Sunday at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in Baton Rouge and from noon until service time at Southern Funeral Home.

Mr. Dean was a native of Winn Parish and a member of Maranatha Fellowship Church of God.

He retired from International Paper Company after 45 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Abb and Orvilla Chloe Allen Dean; five sister, Edna Curtis, Marybelle Dean, Annie Laurie Bundrick, Katie Carol McCallum and Gloria Amy Dean and two brothers, Bill and Julius Dean.

Survivors include his wife Eleanor Waters Dean; two sons, Thomas A. Dean Jr. and Timothy R. Dean and wife Elaine.
