BATON ROUGE — Services for Julian Franklin “Frank” Dantzler Jr., 73, of Walker, La., who died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenoaks Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park under the direction of Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from noon until service time Thursday, both at the funeral home.

Mr. Dantzler was a native of Natchez. He was a retired press room supervisor for The Advocate.

He was preceded in death by one son, Julian Edward Dantzler.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Maggie M. Dantzler; one daughter, Ann Dantzler; one son, Jerry Ross Dantzler; one sister, Betty Tageant; three brothers, Jerry, Billy and David Dantzler; seven grandchildren, Jeanne R. Hall, Jeri Ayn Mulkey Malina and husband, Jason, Tanya and Garret Dantzler, Meghan Dantzler, Kayla Dantzler and Justin Dantzler.
