ASU delegation travels to India to strengthen ties

LORMAN — A group of administrators and faculty of the School of Agriculture, Research, Extension and Applied Sciences and the School of Arts and Sciences recently travel to India in an effort to expand Alcorn State University’s international initiatives.
The purpose of this short trip is to visit Indian universities and sign cooperative agreements.
Within the agreement, ASU and the respective university will design and implement joint research projects and scientific cooperation. Other aspects of the agreement are the joint community development, outreach projects and exchange of students, faculty and staff.
