Natchez — The accounting firm of Silas Simmons, LLP recently announced that Kelcie D. Messer has joined the professional staff at the firm.

Messer earned her bachelor of science degree with a major in accounting from Mississippi College in 2008.

In May 2010, she achieved her masters in business administration from Mississippi College, while working as an intern at Silas Simmons, LLP.

Messer, a native of Natchez, is a 2005 graduate of Adams County Christian School, where she was class valedictorian. She is also an avid softball fan.

Messer is the daughter of Keith and Vera Messer of Natchez.
