Franklin County planning reunion

Alumni of Franklin High School and Franklin Christian Academy classes of 1970 to 1979 are invited to a super reunion at the American Legion Hut in Meadville start at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 24.

The class of 1973 would be honored if the classes from 1970 to 1979 of both Franklin High School and Franklin Christian Academy would join us for food and festivities on that Saturday.

Each class is encouraged to have individual gatherings on Friday evening before the joint reunion.

The cost is $19.73 per couple to provide sandwiches at lunch and meat for the evening meal.

Please RSVP and send money by July 10 to Barbara (Beasley) Newell at P.O. Box 885, Petal, MS, 39465.

Bring finger foods for midday, cold drinks and a covered dish for supper, and we’ll enjoy the fellowship of our classes together.

After supper, a short awards presentation will precede a dance.

More details will be released soon, so mark your calendars and stay tuned.

For questions, e-mail fhs1973ca@yahoo.com.

We look forward to seeing you there.
