GREENVILLE — Services for Theresa Caruso Johnston, 79, who died Monday, June 14, 2010, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Cochran officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home in Greenville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Johnston was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church choir. For 10 years, she provided a nursery in her home for babies two months to one year old. The babies and their parents became her extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Johnston; and parents, Tony and Josie Caruso.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Sheppeard and husband, Bobby, of Greenville and Toni Fenske and husband, John, of Hernando; one son, James Lloyd Johnston of Natchez; one brother, Dr. Charles Caruso and wife, Mary Jane, of Houston, Texas; and three grandchildren, Connor Sheppeard, Logan Sheppeard and Nicholas Fenske.
