MEADVILLE — Services for Joe E. “Gene” Seale, 78, of Meadville, who died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Meadville Baptist Fellowship Hall.
Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church fellowship hall.
Mr. Seale was born June 17, 1932, in Franklin County, the son of Clyde Seale and Audra McCall Seale. He was a retired farmer and a member of Meadville Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret Seale; an infant son, Jack; one grandson, Nigel Wentworth; and one brother.
Survivors include one son, Jimmy Rand Seale and wife, JoAnn, of Meadville; one daughter, JoAnn Wentworth and husband, Hal “Wimpy” of Meadville; three grandsons, Jamie Seale, Jeremy Seale and Yancey Wentworth, all of Meadville; three great-grandchildren, Madelyn Seale, Peyton Nickles and Jacob Seale; and two brothers, Don Seale and James Seale.
Pallbearers will be Yancey Wentworth, Jamie Seale, Jeremy Seale, Barney Hill, Wimpy Wentworth and Short Mullins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dunk Wallace, Harry Wells, Buck Steele, Philip Price, Les Hill, Tony Smith and Calvin Oglesby.
