NATCHEZ — Services for James Fuller Jr., 71, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 18, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Fuller was born March 15, 1939, in Natchez, the son of James Fuller Sr. and Julia Floyd Fuller. He attended Natchez public schools. He was formerly employed by Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago in housekeeping. He was retired.
Mr. Fuller was an avid gun collector and loved hunting dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Albert Fuller and Johnnie B. Fuller.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles Fuller and wife, Gloria, of Chicago and Fred Fuller of Natchez; four sisters, Geraldine Fuller Jones and husband, Joe Lee, of Tutwiler, Anna Marie Fuller Gooden and husband, Johnny, Florine Fuller Evans and Lillian Fuller, all of Natchez; three sisters-in-law, Naomi Fuller, Maggie Fuller and Sara Fuller; and a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Walker, Abraham Washington, Larry Young, Dewey McGee, Willie O. Miller and Francis Washington.
