NATCHEZ — A liquor store on U.S. 61 South was robbed Thursday at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said the complainant, who works at the One Stop Package Store, claims that two men with covered faces and all black clothing ran into the store with handguns demanding money.
One of the men took a small amount of money when the victim opened the cash register, and the two men were out of the store in a matter of minutes, Mullins said.
Mullins said there was one witness in the parking lot, but nobody was in the store other than the clerk. No one was injured.
Anyone with information is urged to call Miss-Lou Crime Stoppers at 601-442-5000. A cash reward is available.
