VIDALIA — Services for Leon Robertson, 50, of Garland, Texas, formerly of Vidalia, who died Monday, July 5, 2010, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Dixon officiating.

Burial will follow at Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. Richardson was born Jan. 20, 1960, in Vidalia, the son of James and Viola Robertson.

He was preceded in death by his father and five brothers, Richard, Emmanuel, Gerald, Davis and Willie Robertson.

Survivors include his mother of Garland; two sons, Leon and Richard Taylor, both of Atlanta; three brothers, James Robertson Jr. and wife, Rebecca, of Vidalia, Calpatrick Robertson of Atlanta and Stacey Robertson of Garland; five sisters, Irene Robertson, Tina Davis and husband, Billy, all of Garland, Evelyn Robertson and Mary Ann Henderson, both of Vidalia, and Kim Hawkins of Memphis, Tenn.; two aunts, Annette Garrison of Ferriday and Bertha Brown of Waterproof, La.; and two uncles, George Garrison of Ferriday and Willie “Pecan” Johnson of Waterproof.
