FERRIDAY — Services for Frances Inez White, 83, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, July 10, 2010, in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ferriday Church of God with the Rev. Paul Burress officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. White was born April 30, 1927, in Baskin, La., the daughter of John A. Taylor and Nancy Doris Taylor. She was a member of Ferriday Church of God.

Mrs. White had a love for cooking for anyone or any occasion and loved gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Johnny Taylor, J.P. Taylor and Mark Taylor; and four sisters, Louise Floyd, Mae Snider, Thelma Snow and Willie Atalie Taylor.

Survivors include her husband, Norris White; two sons, Shelton Eubanks and wife, Carolyn of Elizabeth, La., and Bobby Eubanks and wife, Kathy, of Vidalia; two stepsons, Eugene White of Puckett and Wayne White and wife, Kathy, of Cleveland, Tenn.; one brother, Roy Taylor and wife, Gerri, of Pollock, La.; one sister, Geneva Clark and husband, Bobby, of Tallulah, La.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Temple, Dennis Sutherland, Claude Townsend and Ken McKnight.
