FERRIDAY — Services for Cynthia Turner, 42, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Old St. Reed Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Cusic officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Turner was born Aug. 4, 1967, in Natchez, the daughter of Eddie and Mary Dixon Turner.

Ms. Turner was preceded in death by her father, the Rev. Eddie Turner.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlene and Christina Turner; mother, Mary Turner; five brothers, Eddie Turner Jr., William Turner, David Turner, John Turner and Charles Turner; five sisters, Doris Hooper, Blanche Zeek, Delores Gipson, Lisa Turner and Kimberly Turner, all of Ferriday; three aunts and six uncles; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
