NATCHEZ — Services for Jerry D. Dunn, 78, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Glen Harrigill officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. Dunn was born May 6, 1932, in Jena, La., the son of Allen Edward and Eva Taylor Dunn.

He was retired from Armstrong Tire Company.

Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Terry Dunn.

Survivors include his wife, Marianne Ferry Dunn of Vidalia; one daughter, Linda Morgan of Port Vincent, La.; two sons, Dennis Dunn and Joey Dunn, both of Vidalia; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Sam Ferry Jr., Charles Morgan, Matthew Ferry, Daniel Case, Randy Johnson and Matthew LaCombe.

Honorary pallbearers will be Milton Smith, Bill Wood, Steve Sloan, Andy Sloan, Bobby Mulvihill and David Ferry.
