NATCHEZ — Services for Emma Cecil Perdue, 93, of Searcy, Ark., formerly of Natchez, who died Saturday, July 24, 2010, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Perdue was born Jan. 19, 1917, in Balmorhea, Texas, the daughter of Grover and Hattie Jane Knox. While living in Natchez, she was a member of Covington Road Church of Christ and while in Searcy, she was a member of College Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hurcel Reid Perdue; one daughter; one brother; and two sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Sue Fisher and husband, Wayne, of Weatherford, Texas and Cecelia McLeod and husband, Rowan, of Searcy; one brother, Bill Knox of Fort McCoy, Fla.; five grandchildren, Robby Moon and wife, Debbie, of Asheville, N.C., Randy Moon and wife, Donna, of Decatur, Texas, Carole Glenn of Fort Worth, Texas, Terri Sledge and husband, Tom, and Todd McLeod and wife, Casey, all of Searcy; and 10 great-grandchildren.
