HERMANVILLE — Services for Jimmie Allen Sayles Sr., 71, of Natchez, who died Friday, July 23, 2010, at his residence, will be at noon Friday at Mountro Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Sayles was born Sept. 29, 1938, in Mississippi, the son of Jimmie Lee Sayles and Willie T. Lowrey Sayles. He served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Mary Sayles and Amba Kisye Hills.

Survivors include six loving children, Penny Sayles-Holmes and husband, Marvin, Francine Sayles-Ricks, Sylvia Sayles-Miller and husband, Sam, Jimmie Sayles Jr., Anthony Sayles and Clarence Lee Sayles; a special loving friend, Marie Kelly Johnson; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
