FERRIDAY — Services for Margaret “Noon” Taylor, 83, of Clayton, who died Friday, July 23, 2010, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Chandler officiating.
Burial will follow at Garden of Rest Cemetery in Clayton under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Taylor was born Sept. 27, 1926, in Clayton, the daughter of Lawrence and Minnie Ola Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Robert Taylor Jr.
Survivors include two sons, David Taylor and wife, Glenda, of Madison and Willie Taylor and wife, Shirley, of New Orleans; three daughters, Josephine Taylor and Minnie Turner, both of Clayton, and Margaret Washington of New Orleans; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
