Robinson hired to lead 4-H development at ASU

LORMAN — The Alcorn State University Extension Program recently hired Brenda Robinson as the interim area 4-H youth development extension educator in Jefferson County, Gerald Jones, interim regional coordinator said.
Robinson will also serve Adams, Wilkinson, Amite and Franklin counties.
“Ms. Robinson will coordinate community and school based 4-H programmatic activities with youth and youth serving organizations in her assigned counties,” Jones said. Robinson has 13 years of experience with the Alcorn State University Extension Program. She received her bachelor’s degree in office administration and her master’s degree in secondary education with an emphasis in guidance and counseling, both from Alcorn State University. Currently she is a doctoral candidate in instructional leadership and curriculum development at Nova Southeastern University.
