Natchez — Silas Simmons, LLP, recently announced the addition of Mary D. Adams, CPA to their professional staff.

Adams earned her bachelor of science degree with a major in accounting from Nicholls State University. She maintains a reciprocal license with the State of Mississippi. Adams is a member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

A native of Louisiana, Adams relocated to Lincoln County in 1999 where she was employed with the firm of Alford, Holloway and Smith, PLLC.

Adams is married to Russell Adams, and they have two sons, David and Rusty, and a granddaughter, Carly. They reside in Bogue Chitto.
