NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Margaret Hall “Maggie” Wilson O’Ferrall, 79, of Natchez, who died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at her home, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Natchez City Cemetary with the Rev. Robert Dore officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home on Union Street.

Mrs. O’Ferrall was born Dec. 7, 1930, in Natchez, the daughter of Hall Watkins Wilson and Annie Louise Bost Wilson.

She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Natchez Garden Club. She was a graduate of Natchez High School and attended Louisiana State University. She married the love of her life, Laurence C. “Brother” O’Ferrall on Feb. 24, 1950, and the couple sharied their life together for 51 years until his death on Dec. 24, 2001. In their younger years they will be remembered for their love of music, dance, travel and spontaneity.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister, Anne Louise Valentine.

Survivors include one son, Laurence O’Ferrall, Jr., of Natchez; one daughter, Louise O’Ferrall Card and husband, Jimmy, of St. Francisville, La.; three grandchildren, Michael Laurence Metz of Baton Rouge, Lauren O’Ferrall of Peach City, Ga., and Laurence O’Ferrall III of Seaside, Fla.; one brother, Hall W. Wilson, Jr. and wife Sonia, of Lake St. John; three nieces, Cynthia Gould, Amanda Wilson and Roanne Tipton; one nephew, Gary Robert Valentine; one brother-in-law, Robert B. Valentine; four great newphews, Russell C. Tipton, Allen Wilson Tipton, Conner Bost Tipton and Adrian Wilson Gould; and a great niece Anne Wilder Gould.
