FAYETTE — Services for Peggy B. Seeger, 71, of Fayette, who died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fayette United Methodist Church with the Rev. Aaron Lamb and the Rev. Paul Southerland officiating.

Burial will follow in Fayette City Cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Mrs. Seeger was born March 29, 1939, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Samuel Dallas and Annie O’Neal Butler.

She attended school in Union Church and Fayette and was retired from the Jefferson County Department of Human Services. She was an active member of Fayette United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry Seeger; and one son, Mark Seeger.

Survivors include one son, Chris Seeger and wife Wedia of Leland, N.C.; two daughters, Kim Segrest and husband Johnny of Natchez and Susan Cangemi and husband Mike of Fayette; four grandchildren, Brad Seeger, Chris Seeger, Kyla Cangemi and Michael Cangemi; one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Brimfield and husband Donald of Baton Rouge; one brother-in-law, Charles Wayne Seeger and wife Diann of Waynesboro; a special cousin, Laverin Bailey of Lorman; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brad Seeger, Chris Seeger Jr., Michael Cangemi, Brian Seeger, Jason Seeger and Gene Davis.
