COVINGTON, La. — Memorial services for Ingrid “Sam” Guess, who died Friday, July 30, 2010, at her home in Slidell, La., will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Serenity Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Home in Covington.

Mrs. Guess was originally from Butzbach, Germany, and was a resident of Slidell for the past 24 years.

Survivors include her husband, David Guess; four sons, Steven King of Ferriday, James King of Hendersonville, N.C., Jason Richardson and Stan Guess, both of Slidell; four siblings, Silvia Crawford of Concord, N.H., Beate Huff of Memphis, Tenn., Hans Heilig of Vidalia and Leslie Rand Jr. of Arlington, Texas; five grandchildren, John, Noah, Michael, Tracilynn and Elijah; and four great-grandchildren.
