WOODVILLE — Services for Murdock Andrews, 93, of Woodville, who died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, in Baton Rouge, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark Baptist Church with the Rev. Roosevelt Palmer officiating.

Burial will follow at Cedar Rest Cemetery under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home in Gloster.

Mr. Andrews was born Sept. 13, 1918, in Mississippi, the son of Burk and Sally Andrews. He was a longtime resident of Woodville and was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie Andrews of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Florence Williams and Ola Allen, both of Baton Rouge, and Sally Wright of Baker, La.; four grandchildren, Stacy Wright of Baker, Torrance Allen, Omar Allen and Menelle Jones, all of Baton Rouge; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
