Clara Clark

DUMAS, Ark. — A celebration of life for Clara Lammers Clark, 72, who went to be with the Lord Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, in Natchez after a challenging battle with pulmonary disease, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Clark was born Jan. 30, 1938, in Stuttgart, Ark., the daughter of the Clarence Eno Lammers and Wilma Hockings Lammers. She was a retired assistant vice president at Bank of America in Little Rock, Ark. She lived most of her adult life in North Little Rock and Cabot, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Halley and husband, Mike, of Natchez, Kay Briggs and husband, Jim, of Baton Rouge and Kim Clark of Vidalia; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Halley, Jason Halley, Ashley Halley, Keri Sessions, Matthew Bullen, Zachery Briggs and Ryan Briggs; two brothers, Clarence Lammers and wife, Shelia, of Charleston, S.C., and Charles Lammers of Stuttgart; three sisters, Carolyn Maier and husband, Kenneth, of Stuttgart, Claudia Wilson of Hot Springs, Ark., and Susan Goodwin of Avon, Conn.; and her dog, Missy.

Clara had the wonderful ability to live life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by a number of people whose lives she touched in so many different ways. Family and friends were all very blessed by knowing her and loving her and will miss her greatly.
