LORMAN — Services for Elizabeth Smith, 91, of Memphis, Tenn., who died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at Methodist Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Waterloo Baptist Church with the Rev. E. Cotton officiating.
Burial will follow at the Smith Family Cemetery in Lorman under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith was born April 10, 1919, in Mississippi, the daughter of Johnnie Johnson and Angeline Caston. She was a retired teacher and a member of Waterloo Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William D. Smith; and one daughter, Brentice Annette Smith.
Survivors include two sons, William Henry Smith of Snellville, Ga., and Douglas Ray Smith of Lorman; four daughters, Brenda Elder of Pascagoula, Prenella Adams of Fort Worth, Texas, Quida Pittman of Lorman and Darnella Murray of Terry; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
