Ferriday — The Huntington School office staff will begin releasing records of graduates and former students on Tuesday, Aug. 24.

The office will be open from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. on the following days: Aug. 17, 18, 19; Aug. 23, 24, 25, 26; Aug. 30, 31, Sept. 1, 2; and Sept 7, 8 and 9. Records will only be released to former students or their parents. Anyone else wishing to get records for a friend or family member must bring in written permission from the person whose records they have been asked to pick up.

For people who live out of the area, records can be shipped for a fee of $12. Requests for shipping may be made by fax or mail.

Requests for records of any student who attended Huntington during 2009-2010 should be faxed to the office by the school in which the student is enrolled for this school year.

The Huntington office will officially close on Sept. 9, so all record pick-ups and requests must be made by that date.
