FERRIDAY — Services for Lillie M. Watkins, 67, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church with the Rev. Freddie Schiele officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Watkins was born March 1, 1943, in Ferriday, the daughter of Johnnie and Mary Frances Pankey Gardner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Watkins; one son, Frank Gardner; and one brother, Joe Lee Gray.

Survivors include one son, Howard Green of Monroe, La.; three daughters, Brenda Lawrence of Ferriday, Sharon Watkins of Terrell, Texas and Patricia Rollin of Fontana, Calif.; three brothers, Tom Gardner of Detroit, Robert Price Jr. of Austin, Texas and Andrew Price of Houma, La.; one sister, Darlean Harris of Ferriday; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two grandchildren she raised as her own, Shawona and Patrick Westbrook, both of Ferriday.
