VIDALIA — U.S. Rep. Rodney Alexander’s district staff will have satellite office hours during the month of September to assist 5th Congressional District residents with casework matters.
Employees working at the district offices can operate as a liaison between federal agencies, such as the Internal Revenue Service and the Social Security Administration, and individuals.
The district office’s duties while assisting the federal agencies and constituents are to inquire on behalf of the federal agencies situations. This would include things such as finding out case status and requesting additional information.
They will be in Ferriday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 1 and in Vidalia from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 1. They will also be in Jonesville from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 and in Winnsboro from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 7.
