Local student earns pharmacy scholarship
BATON ROUGE — Kacie Doré of Natchez was recently awarded a scholarship from the Louisiana Pharmacists Association.
Doré also earned the Lettie P. Whitehead Scholarsihp for the fall and spring semesters. The scholarship is given annually to a female student majoring in a health science field at the University of Louisiana Monroe.
Doré is a 2005 graduate from Adams County Christian School and attends the University of Louisiana Monroe School of Pharmacy.
She is a president’s list student, maintaining a 4.0 GPA for both semesters of the 2009-2010 academic year.
