ferriday — Autopsy results from the infant who died Sept. 4 in Ferriday are back, and Sheriff Randy Maxwell said the initial results indicate no foul play or trauma as cause for the baby’s death.
“We are still waiting on a few toxicology reports, but at this time, there has been no indication whatsoever of foul play,” Maxwell said.
The baby was said to have stopped breathing around 9 p.m. Saturday, and the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office, Metro Ambulance Service and an assistant coroner were responded to the scene on Collins Road in Ferriday.
