MEADVILLE — Services for Cory Lavelle Gant, 33, of Meadville, who died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, in Abbeyville, La., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Franklin County High School Auditorium.
Burial will follow at Hunt Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the school auditorium.
Mr. Gant was born Aug. 29, 1977, in Mississippi, the son of George Sr. and Irma Hankins Gant. He was a member of Miss-Lou Bullets Motorcycle Club.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Carrie Hankins, Judge and Berdie Brown and Herbert Gant Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Lawanda Jackson Gant; four daughters, Coreyana Brown, Z’Kendra Gant, Jakeira Oliver and Coriah Gant; his parents; seven sisters, Theresa Bee, Sylvia Cain, Constance Gant, Oralee Gant Johnson, Susan Gant, Deirdre Gant Thompson and Tamara Gant; three brothers, Derrick Gant, George Gant Jr. and Eric Gant; father and mother-in-law, Haven and Annie Jackson; godmother, Lillie Mae Hunt; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
