WATERPROOF — Services for Gwendolyn Denise Brown, 41, of Lewisville, Texas, formerly of Waterproof, who died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at Denton Regional Medical Center in Denton, Texas, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cypress Grove Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Myrtle Grove Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Brown was born Dec. 13, 1968, in Monroe, La., the daughter of Willie B. Johnson and Arlone Brown.

Survivors include her father and his wife, Billie, and her mother, all of Waterproof; four sons, Cherrick Brown of Kansas City, Mo., Ernest Daniels of Lewisville, Tony Brown and Montell Brown, both of Denton; three brothers, Ulysses Brown and wife, LaKeysha, of Carrollton, Texas, Ricky Johnson and wife, Shawanda, of Monroe, and Jonthan Johnson and wife, Linda, of Leesburg, Va.; and her grandmothers, Ezella Davis and Louise Bethel, both of Waterproof.
