NATCHEZ — Services for Phillip Giles, 88, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Sibley.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Mr. Giles was born Aug. 13, 1922, in Natchez, the son of Bessie Wright and James Giles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Estelle Giles.

Survivors include six children, Ophelia Chatman and husband, Bennie, of Texas, Phillip Giles Jr. and wife, Mary, of Georgia, Rita Washington, Terry Giles, Tangyell Giles, all of Natchez, and India Reed of Virginia; one stepdaughter, JoAnn Savage and husband, Lawrence, of Jackson; twin sister, Josephine Jones and husband, Clarence, of Natchez; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
