VIDALIA — Old St. Reed Baptist Church will host a forum for candidates in the Concordia Parish School Board election.

The event will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the church located on 107 Levee Heights Road in Ferriday.

“People don’t know who some of these candidates are,” the Rev. R.B. Turner said. “We are trying to give them a forum to come out and talk and meet people in the community.”

Turner said he wasn’t sure which candidates would attend.

“Some will come and some will not,” he said. “But they cannot say I didn’t give them an invitation.”
