WATERPROOF — Services for Clara Lutcher Walker, 83, of Waterproof, who died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cypress Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. Walker was born Aug. 27, 1927, in Waterproof, the daughter of Ceasear and Beatrice Moore Lutcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gable Walker; and one brother, Oike Lutcher Sr.

Survivors include one sister, Clara L. Walker of Merrero, La. and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
