NATCHEZ — The youth of Highland Baptist Church will be helping Chasity Perea and Jammie Little at a car wash on from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Advance Auto Parts 179 Seargent S. Prentiss Drive.

The cost for a car is $5 and trucks and SUVs are $8. Donations are also welcome. The car wash fundraiser is to benefit Chasity and Jammie’s mother, Patricia “PJ” Jamison Swillie, who is battling a disease called Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS), which is a group of rare, degenerative neurological disorders.

The family is trying to raise money to get Swillie to Houston to a specialist for treatment. For information, please call 601-597-3259.
