NATCHEZ — Services for Reathere Mae Hampton, 83, who died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. today at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Howard officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Richardson & Sims Funeral Home in Ferriday.
A repast will follow the burial at The True Church of Jesus Christ on East Franklin Street.
Mrs. Hampton was born Oct. 10, 1926, the daughter of Elijah Williams and Pearline-Lilymae Tolliver.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one niece, Lorana Robinson Mitchell.
Survivors include one loving sister, Ruthie Lee Robinson; one brother, Leon Williams and wife, Eunice; eight nieces, Mary L. Harris and husband, the Rev. Herman Harris, Bobbie Jean Ignont and husband, Eric, Naomi Boley, Vergie Jackson, Rosie Williams, Ida Williams and Jessie L. Morgan and husband, the Rev. Andrew L. Morgan, all of Winnsboro, La. and Shelia Robinson of Baton Rouge; seven nephews, Charles E. Smith of Ferriday, Earnest L. Smith of Jackson, Moses Robinson and wife, Velma, Cleophus Robinson, Willie A. Smith Jr., and Leon Williams Jr., all of Winnsboro; special brother, McKinley Campbell of Winnsboro; a close cousin, the Rev. Mack Stokes of New Orleans; and a number of great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and great-great-great-nieces and nephews.
