NATCHEZ — Services for Lee Raymond Smith, 44, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home, LLC.
Mr. Smith was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. He enjoyed racing and spending time with his dogs.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ramonia Nelson.
Survivors include his father, Raymond Murray; his mother, Geraldine Thomas; five sisters, Angela Smith, Lucille Cornwell and husband, Earl, Karen Smith, Esparanda Smith and Karen Hicks-Hill; two brothers, Charles White and Christopher Chatman; companion, Edna Mae Blanton; special friend, Chazell Jones; children left to cherish his memories, nine daughters, Je’Zerrian Swanson, Gerica Hawkins, Sekina Hawkins, Cherie Swanson, Emmer Swanson, Rayshonda Jones, Chion’t Hawkins, Sharell Smith and Shakeria Clay; 12 sons, Calvin Mathews, Kiont’e Hawkins, Latravis Clay, Lee Raymond Clay, Earl Jones, Antonio Clay, Lee Raymond Hawkins Smith, Keyjuan Thompson, Lee Jaray Smith, Lee Raymond Smith Jr., Zachery Clay and Avery Neyland; and wife, Shirley Smith.
