We would like to publicly thank the young ladies who rescued our terribly hurt pet dog, Rocky, from the Vidalia Canal in Vidalia.

After several days of touring the town, Rocky was evidently hit by a vehicle and left to die. These young ladies went out of their way to take Rocky out of the canal and contact the Miss-Lou Veterinary Clinic to try to find the owners.

Without their help and kindness, Rocky would have certainly died in short order.

We didn’t get your names, but we thank you so much.

We would also like to thank Dr. Debbie and Dr. Veronica and the terrific young women at the Miss-Lou Clinic for their care of Rocky during this ordeal. Without their help, Rocky would not have survived and not be on his way to recovery.

The Miss-Lou is fortunate to have such wonderful folks in the community.
