NATCHEZ — A man was arrested by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Friday for allegedly stealing a dog four years ago.

John Edward Bland, 38, 3928 Will Road, was arrested for grand larceny on a 2006 affidavit, which said Bland did “take, steal and carry away one pug dog” from the property of Jennifer Foley on 86 Hobo Forks Road.

The affidavit was signed Oct. 25, 2006, and said the dog was valued more than $500.

Bland was released on a $1,000 bond.
