It’s about that time again — trick or treating! Girl Scout Troop 5392 will not be asking for candy, but canned foods.

Look for Girl Scouts from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, in the Grand Village area.

We will be walking door-to-door with wagons asking for canned food. We would love to collect donations from you, so please be ready with extra canned goods if you can participate.

The canned food drive is the troop’s first community service project of the year.

The food collected will benefit the local food pantries for the upcoming holiday seasons.
