NATCHEZ — The Rhythm Night Club Museum will host a grand opening at noon today.
The museum, at No. 5 St. Catherine St., is a collection of news clippings, memorabilia and memories of the 1940 fire that killed more than 200 people.
Owners Monroe and Betty Sago have collected the materials on display in order to share them publicly with locals and tourists.
Exhibits also include interviews with fire survivors and pictures and stories from friends and family members of those who died.
The museum is open daily and private events and tours can be arranged.
Tickets can be purchased at Natchez Pilgrimage Tours at the Natchez Visitor Reception Center.
